Some skills are complimentary, making certain combinations of pets favorable for certain challenges and situations. Rare Skills can be upgraded just like a character's Skills to boost their effects. If a pet dies, their skill can not be used for the rest of the battle. The skills available at any given time will be tied to the specific pets on the battlefield at that moment. When enabled, the Rare Skills will appear next to the character's main Skills in the bottom right corner of the screen. The Rare Skills can be found in its designated tab of the Skill Menu.
Rare skills are unlocked when the player reaches level 25. When a player marches into battle with their War Pets, these companions can provide a special bonus in the form of Rare Skills.
